Kitchen Renovation Week Six
Hi There,
I can’t believe we are at the end of week six of the kitchen renovation process! I can't wait to be able to use my kitchen again, as a foodie in autumn I’m so ready to have an oven and stove to cook on instead of just a microwave!
Luckily the kitchen has come on leaps and bounds this week! The focus of this week has been install all the units ready for the granite templating to be undertaken at the start of week seven.
To start with the main kitchen area, the fridge and freezer are now fully installed and all the doors and handles are on the cabinets.
My husband painted the newly plastered walls and ceilings white prior to any flooring being installed. The spot lights were then installed throughout.
The floor has been laid through the main kitchen area in order to be able to lift the range into place and finish building out the island. The sink, tap and dishwasher have also been placed in the island to show where the granite needs to be cut.
Lastly the units on the far end if the kitchen have been installed ready for the templating too.
So a lot of change in one week and hopefully not too much work to be able to complete the rest of the project! Thanks for following along with this process.
Thank you
