Kitchen Renovation Week Five

Hi Guys,

This weeks update is going to be short and sweet.

This weeks focus was getting the majority of the plastering completed. As the kitchen itself is large and we have had a laundry room added in the garage, this process took the majority of the week to complete.

The first few days the builders installed the new plasterboard on the ceiling and in the laundry room to form the walls. Then during the later part of the week the plasterer came in to coat all the walls.

This has made a massive change to the feel of the rooms. My husband and I were shocked by how big the space felt.

We’re now just trying to choose painful colours for the walls, we want to keep it light and bright but I don’t want brilliant white walls as we have a dog and they tend to get messy when he shakes.
