Roast Leeks
With just over a week to Christmas Day I thought I’d share what we’ll be having for Christmas Dinner, a recipe one day at a time. Today I’m sharing my mum's recipe for Roast Leeks. They’re one of my favourite side dishes, soft and sweet caramelised leeks.
Serves 2
INGREDIENTS
2 Leeks
60g Butter
METHOD
Preheat your oven to 200°C.
Chop the top and end off the leeks. Slice the leeks in half lengthways, then depending on their length slice in half or thirds horizontally to fit in the pan.
Slice the butter and place on top of the leeks.
Place in the oven for an hour.
Enjoy!
