Balsamic Asparagus Puffs

Looking for something simple bit different to make for dinner tonight? These Balsamic Asparagus Puffs take less than 20 minutes to make and are great by themselves or as a side.

INGREDIENTS

1 Packet of Ready Rolled Puff Pastry

1 Packet of Asparagus

Balsamic Glaze

1 Egg

METHOD

Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Roll out the puff pastry. Cut into 10cm squares, then in half to triangles.

Cut the ends of the asparagus to leave the tips with approximately 8cm of the stalk.

Take 4 stalks of asparagus, place in the middle of your puff pastry triangle.

Drizzle balsamic glaze over the asparagus.

Crack your egg into a small bowl and wisk it with a fork.

Egg wash the outer points of the triangle and wrap the points over the asparagus to stick on themselves.

Place the wrapped asparagus parcels on a pre lined baking tray.

Put in the oven for approximately 10 minutes.

Serve warm or cool.
