Mulled Wine

It’s not Christmas without a big glass of Mulled Wine for me. Usually I would have a glass while being wrapped up warm at a Christmas Market but this year its a glass in front of the fire and tree. This recipe is so easy and honestly the best tasting Mulled Wine I've had in years!

Serves 2

INGREDIENTS

1/2 Bottle Merlot

1 Orange

8 Cloves

1 Cinnamon Stick

2 Star Anise

3 Tablespoons Honey

2 Shots Cointreau

METHOD

Finely slice the orange.

Add it to the pan with the cloves, cinnamon stick, star anise, the honey, Cointreau and wine.

Simmer over a low heat for 10 minutes and serve hot.
