Blender Cleaning Hack

For today’s Tip Tuesday I wanted to share a really quick and easy way to clean your blender.

I don’t know why it took me ages to realise this was the simplest way to get almost anything off my blender and not damage the blades, but now I know I feel I have to share.

So all you need to do is add a couple centimetres of water to your blender with a pump of dish soap and then the blender on high for about a minute.

This should make the dish soap foam up and the water swirl to clear any gunk off the blades and sides of the container.

After about a minute I tip the dirty water down the drain and if its still not looking pristine I repeat with fresh water and soap until it is.

This takes all the scrubbing out of trying to clean the blender and is much more effective and less damaging to the blades than hand washing or popping it in the dish washer.
